The CellReGen™ Program, under the Department of Internal Medicine, in collaboration with the University of Utah’s Vice President’s Office of Research and Associate Vice President’s Office of Health Sciences, is thrilled to announce the availability of three (3) pilot grants, each amounting to $66,500. These grants are exclusively open for University of Utah investigators across all campus departments with a focus on advancing the frontiers of cellular therapy and regenerative medicine.
The primary objective of these grants is to accelerate the translation of cutting-edge research into tangible cellular and tissue-based therapies, fostering a seamless integration of efforts across basic research, bioengineering, and medical sciences. Our aim is to pave the way for innovative solutions that contribute to the accessibility of transformative treatments for patients. Research must focus on translation research involving stem cells and regenerative medicine applications. Collaboration across campus is preferred (OneU Initiative).
Proposals will undergo a meticulous review process, with emphasis on evaluating the level of innovation and the direct clinical relevance in the realm of cellular therapy and regenerative medicine. We encourage investigators to bring forth ideas that push the boundaries of possibility, bridging the gap between research and practical, impactful applications in the field.
