IQVIA introduces new trial technology platform for research sites – Clinical Trials Arena

One Home enables companies and software vendors to integrate applications seamlessly, simplifying the daily operations at sites.
IQVIA has launched a new clinical trial technology platform, One Home for Sites, designed to streamline the management of trials by providing a single sign-on and dashboard for various tasks and systems.
This innovation addresses the challenge of technology overload at research sites, where staff often juggle multiple usernames and passwords across different applications, detracting from patient care and the ability to manage several trials concurrently.

By consolidating the multitude of clinical applications into a single platform, One Home for Sites, the latest offering from IQVIA, enables pharmaceutical companies and their software vendors to integrate clinical applications seamlessly, simplifying the daily operations at research sites.
This integration is expected to enhance the focus on patient recruitment and treatment, thereby increasing the capacity to manage multiple trials.
The development of the One Home platform by IQVIA was informed by the insights of over 100 site personnel, ensuring it caters to the real-world needs of its users.
Prime Sites of IQVIA, which are institutes or networks dedicated to advancing clinical trial procedures, are currently piloting the platform.

These partnerships are deemed necessary to enhance site capacity and expedite the introduction of new medical treatments to patients.
In November 2022, IQVIA entered a partnership with Clalit Health Services to establish the first Prime Site in Israel, combining their expertise in clinical trial delivery, real-world research, data analytics, and genomics.
IQVIA Digital Products and Solutions senior vice-president Bernd Haas said: “With site capacity becoming a real challenge for the industry, we believe it is our role and responsibility to deliver a solution that brings industry stakeholders together and relieves the burden on research sites.
“IQVIA One Home for Sites is the only product with a vision and scope broad enough to reverse the negative effects of technology proliferation that is plaguing sites today.”
