(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Mosaic Life Care hosted an interactive open house on Monday to highlight robotic surgery practices.
Mosaic and Intuitive partnered up for the demonstration of the da Vinci 5, which is referred to as the most advanced and integrated robotic surgery system.
The da Vinci systems are designed to transform surgery by improving recovery time, patient outcomes, and surgeon experience.
“What it does is it provides a better surgeon experience as far as being able to sit down, they have full autonomy,” said Whitney Eliot, a representative with Intuitive. “So they’re able to control the instruments control, the camera. It puts the control back in their hands. We’re seeing better results because of that. So that’s the whole thing that we’re here is to improve patient outcomes.”
Mosaic currently uses Intuitive’s da Vinci Xi model.
