TYLER, Texas — Poseidon Power Washing, LLC showcased their SoftWash Drone by cleaning the historic six-story Tyler Chamber of Commerce building Saturday.
Using “soft washing” technology, Poseidon Power Washing was able to thoroughly clean the outside of the building without causing damage to the delicate exterior. The drone is capable of cleaning buildings up to 10 stories tall.
“We’re thrilled to announce this exciting project,” Jim Steinmark, Owner and CEO of Poseidon Power Washing, said in a press release. “Using Drones to assist in the cleaning of such a prominent and historic building is a testament to our commitment to innovation and excellence in our industry.”
According to Poseidon Power Washing, this technology offers a more efficient and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional cleaning methods. They described the process as “likened to having the cleaning wand suspended in the air, cleaning the side of a building with eco-friendly, water-based soaps and solutions.
The company also tells us this technology eliminates the need for dangerous boom lifts, scaffolding and suspending workers from the roof, as all of the cleaning is safely managed remotely from the ground.

Poseidon Power Washing is a Veteran owned and operated SoftWash and Power Wash cleaning service established in 2017 in Tyler. They operate the only Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) in Texas with the ability to perform SoftWash services on buildings up to 10 stories tall.
