If you are between 16 and 29 years old and have innovative ideas to make this region a fairer place for young people, the #IdeathonForSocialJustice awaits you. The most outstanding ideas will participate in the ILO Global Youth Employment Forum.
This initiative aims to give voice to the youth of the region, recognizing their innovative and creative capacity to address challenges related to social justice and decent work.
Proposals must address one of the three categories of the call: 1) communicative and artistic solutions, 2) advocacy, 3) academic solutions, which will be reviewed by a tripartite jury of employer organizations, workers, and governments in the region.
The most outstanding ideas will receive wide visibility and technical support from the ILO and its partners to support their implementation. What’s the best part? The winners will have the privilege of participating in the ILO Global Youth Employment Forum, a space to exchange experiences and enrich the debate with young people from all countries of the world.
“All of the ideas presented to the call will contribute to the Global Coalition for Social Justice, promoting the participation of youth in our region in the formulation and implementation of concrete actions, and the dissemination of its principles and values in their countries and communities,” said the ILO Regional Director, Ana Virginia Moreira Gomes.
